Michael Rogan & Marcus Caston – How to Ski Bumps

OVERVIEW

Many skiers will describe themselves as “experts,” and then admit, in the same breath, that they “don’t do bumps.” It’s not surprising. Moguls take pride in making you look bad. Whether you’re an occasional bumper looking to smooth and polish your technique, or a total newcomer who has always stuck to the corduroy, PSIA Alpine Team Coach Michael Rogan and pro skier Marcus Caston will help you build the confidence and skills to survive and thrive on terrain where the groomers never go—all while looking good doing it.

You’ll Learn

  • How to choose the right gear and terrain

INSTRUCTORS

Michael Rogan
You know the skiers who teach the ski instructors how to ski? That’s the Professional Ski Instructors of America’s alpine team, and Michael Rogan is the coach of that team. He skis 250 days a year—most of them teaching a range of skiers from junior racers to the most elite members of the U.S. Ski Team. “I’m excited to teach you how to have better, more exciting days on the mountain,” Michael says. “Skiing is my passion and I believe the more you know, the more fun you’ll have.” Michael, living a skier’s dream, spends his North American winters in the Tahoe area, then travels to Ski Portillo in Chile for the South American winter.

Marcus Caston
Marcus Caston, who lives in Utah, is a professional freeskier who has become a familiar face to the many fans of the Warren Miller movies. Like so many great freeskiers, he grew up racing, and he relies on those skills—anticipation, edging, balance, and aggressiveness—to tear it up on big mountains all over the world. He says he’s always had a special love for skiing moguls—something not all racers embrace. “A lot of really good skiers never venture into moguls—they don’t want to work that hard, or they don’t have the ‘right’ skis, or they’re afraid of looking bad. I don’t always look great in bumps myself—no one does all the time—but I love the challenge. Wherever there’s moguls, there’s a true test of your ability and a chance to get better at skiing.”

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Innovative Business Model:
    • Embrace the reality of a genuine business! Our approach involves forming a group buy, where we collectively share the costs among members. Using these funds, we purchase sought-after courses from sale pages and make them accessible to individuals facing financial constraints. Despite potential reservations from the authors, our customers appreciate the affordability and accessibility we provide.
  2. The Legal Landscape: Yes and No:
    • The legality of our operations falls into a gray area. While we lack explicit approval from the course authors for resale, there’s a technicality at play. When procuring the course, the author didn’t specify any restrictions on resale. This legal nuance presents both an opportunity for us and a boon for those seeking budget-friendly access.
  3. Quality Assurance: Unveiling the Real Deal:
    • Delving into the heart of the matter – quality. Acquiring the course directly from the sale page ensures that all documents and materials are identical to those obtained through conventional means. However, our differentiator lies in going beyond personal study; we take an extra step by reselling. It’s important to note that we are not the official course providers, meaning certain premium services aren’t included in our package:
      • No coaching calls or scheduled sessions with the author.
      • No access to the author’s private Facebook group or web portal.
      • No entry to the author’s exclusive membership forum.
      • No direct email support from the author or their team.

We operate independently, aiming to bridge the affordability gap without the additional services offered by official course channels. Your understanding of our unique approach is greatly appreciated.

Refund is acceptable:

  • Firstly, item is not as explained
  • Secondly, Item do not work the way it should.
  • Thirdly, and most importantly, support extension can not be used.

Thank you for choosing us! We’re so happy that you feel comfortable enough with us to forward your business here.
