Briana Wiles
Having been in practice for more than a decade, it’s no surprise that Briana has a huge passion for her career as an herbalist. Briana specializes in teaching about wild foods, herbalism, and creating organic herbal body care products. Rooted in Gunnison, CO, Briana has an abundance of wild plants—many of which are edible or medicinal—in her backyard. Plus, she’s written two books about foraging (Mountain States Foraging, and Mountain States Medicinal Plants) and owns Rooted Apothecary, which has a store in Gunnison and another in Crested Butte.

Kat Mackinnon
Kat is the botany course director and primary faculty at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism. Kat lives just outside Boulder, CO, and when she’s not working you can find her making plant medicine and exploring in the mountains of the Colorado Front Range.
