CLASS DESCRIPTION

Learn How To Transition From A Team Player To A Leader

You’ve been a successful individual contributor at your company for years. Now you’re starting to feel like you need more. The logical step is to become a manager—taking on more responsibility, making more of an impact and getting higher compensation.

But how should you go about making such a major transition? Will your company and team be able to see you as a manager? Do you have what it takes to succeed in that new role?

This course is all about taking the momentous step from individual contributor to manager. Experienced consultant and coach Cory Caprista will highlight the differences between the two positions and what you need to do to successfully move into a management role.

In this class, you’ll learn how to:

  • Develop the habits of great managers and apply them to achieve performance improvements.
  • Discover the areas of growth you’ll need for continued improvement over time.
  • Employ the elements of great management.
  • Invest the right amount of time and energy in each area of management.
  • Understand what high-quality management looks like.
  • Surmount a lack of formal training.
  • Overcome your own negative or limiting patterns that create resistance to success.
  • Deal with low team engagement, negative team culture and high employee turnover.

CORY CAPRISTA

Cory fell in love with business because it combined the team focus and clear goals of sports with the complexity of human psychology. He spent ten years developing his skills and at-scale problem solving in Sales and Product at Google, YouTube, and Twitter.

Cory knew there was something more for him. On a South American vision quest, it became clear his mission was to develop effective, conscious leaders across the globe. Now he does just that. He works internationally with many of the biggest and fastest growing technology companies (including Google, Dropbox, Lyft, and Airbnb) to increase productivity, efficiency, and employee engagement. Cory works one-on- one with top performers and executives as well as with teams designing and leading trainings. He is obsessed with bringing more meaning, joy, and laughter to our work—an area of our lives we give so much time and energy to.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus in Marketing and Technology from Santa Clara University. Cory is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the Institute of Professional Coaching Association (ICPA). He is a trained Somatica® Method Practitioner, a relational, and experiential body-based therapy focused on relationships and intimacy.

Cory is a practitioner of Vipassana meditation, a shameless Crossfitter, and a volunteer counselor in the Wilderness and Outdoor Leadership Program (WOLP) at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times—a summer camp oasis for kids with cancer and their families.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Innovative Business Model:
    • Embrace the reality of a genuine business! Our approach involves forming a group buy, where we collectively share the costs among members. Using these funds, we purchase sought-after courses from sale pages and make them accessible to individuals facing financial constraints. Despite potential reservations from the authors, our customers appreciate the affordability and accessibility we provide.
  2. The Legal Landscape: Yes and No:
    • The legality of our operations falls into a gray area. While we lack explicit approval from the course authors for resale, there’s a technicality at play. When procuring the course, the author didn’t specify any restrictions on resale. This legal nuance presents both an opportunity for us and a boon for those seeking budget-friendly access.
  3. Quality Assurance: Unveiling the Real Deal:
    • Delving into the heart of the matter – quality. Acquiring the course directly from the sale page ensures that all documents and materials are identical to those obtained through conventional means. However, our differentiator lies in going beyond personal study; we take an extra step by reselling. It’s important to note that we are not the official course providers, meaning certain premium services aren’t included in our package:
      • No coaching calls or scheduled sessions with the author.
      • No access to the author’s private Facebook group or web portal.
      • No entry to the author’s exclusive membership forum.
      • No direct email support from the author or their team.

We operate independently, aiming to bridge the affordability gap without the additional services offered by official course channels. Your understanding of our unique approach is greatly appreciated.

Refund is acceptable:

  • Firstly, item is not as explained
  • Secondly, Item do not work the way it should.
  • Thirdly, and most importantly, support extension can not be used.

Thank you for choosing us! We’re so happy that you feel comfortable enough with us to forward your business here.
